Introduction
IS IS Link State PDU
- LSP contain neighboring ISIS adj and its state.
- Level 1 LSPs are flooded only to Level 1 within the same area.
- Level 2 LSPs are flooded over all Level 2 adj.
- LSP have a max age of 20 minutes.
- LSP have a refresh timer of 15 minutes. Without refreshing them, LSP with wait for the zero-age lifetime.
- Zero-age lifetime is the timer that keeps expired prefixes. Default timer is 60 seconds.
