Junos MPLS LDP Session Protection

  • Based on RFC 5036.
  • When directly connected links go down, the LDP TCP session is maintained.
  • When directly connected links come back up, session is not restarted, but hello packets are exchanged.
  • Duration of how long to maintain the session after directly connect links go down.
